Zojirushi in race track

Some may think that Zojirushi should have nothing to do with auto racing. Well, they are wrong. Zojirushi has been cooperating with Nakajima racing team, installing vacuum mugs in their formula racing cars to supply drivers with cool beverages. What a good replenishment of energy and water for the drivers! 
 
This is the specially designed vacuum mug installed in formula racing cars. 
The body is the same as regular vacuum mugs. But the trick is hidden in the cap. 
 
As shown in the photo, this special vacuum mug is installed under the driver seat. During summer races, the heat emitted from the engine, combined with the sunlight and heat reflection from the asphalt road, can raise the temperature inside the cockpit to above 40℃. Without keep-cool performance, the cool beverage stored in a container will gradually become lukewarm. That’s why the drivers need a Zojirushi vacuum mug to keep the beverage cool until the end of the race.  
 
After drivers press the DRINK button on their steering wheels, the water pump on the cap of the special vacuum mug will send beverage directly to their mouths via a tube.
